Kerry Receives ALMA SKIN Plus Rejuran

So today we are treating Kerry with the Alma Opus Microplasma device. So there are a number of different settings we’re going to use both thermal and ablative with our six pin roller. We’re going to be working on Kerry’s overall tone and texture of her skin. So we’re trying to firm it up, improve the smoothness, elasticity, work on the pore size, and try and improve some of the redness in Kerry’s skin because she has rosacea.

Then we’re going to move on to Kerry’s neck. The Alma Opus Plasma device is really good for improving fine lines and wrinkles in the neck and working on neck skin crepiness just to improve the texture there.

So we began by prepping Kerry’s skin to make sure it was very clean and dry. Now we’re coming along with the six pin roller. So this is a blunt roller, and the pins deliver radio frequency. And by touching the skin, the radiofrequency enters the dermis, the deeper layer of the skin. We’re trying to create heat in this layer to stimulate the fibroblasts to make collagen and elastin and all those buzzwords that you hear when we’re talking about trying to stimulate the dermis, and tighten and smooth skin.

So we’ve just completed two thermal passes with the Alma Opus Plasma device. So that was using the six pin roller, which is blunt, to push the radio frequency into the deeper layer of the skin, the dermis. And now we’re going to up the settings and do an ablative pass. So this will create a little shower of controlled sparks that will, for want of a better word, create little micro burns on the skin. And the aim is to try and resurface some of the skin, in tiny, tiny little bits by hovering this hand piece above the skin and not quite touching it, the radiofrequency energy hits the end of the pins.

It reacts with nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere, and it creates a controlled little shower of sparks. So these sparks land on the epidermis, the outer layer of the skin, and create tiny little micro burns. So we’re trying to gently resurface the skin, working on texture, fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, redness and the majority of skin concerns for Kerry.

So now to finish off we are using the icepick tip. So it’s a little bit different in that we can target smaller areas. So we’re using this tip to come along Kerry’s top lip and underneath her eyes, the same ablative settings just in a smaller area.

So today we’re going to inject Rejuran. So, Rejuran is a poly nucleotide serum and poly nucleotides break down into little amino acids. It’s like fertiliser for our skin. So there are three different types of Rejuran. And we have all three types here at RiverEnd Aesthetics. Today Kerry is going to be treated with all three. So we’ll start with Rejuran eye for under her eyes. And that works on improving the skin quality under the eyes. So we’re trying to thicken it up. Improve the little fine lines and wrinkles and try to minimise those under eye bags.

Then we move on and we’re going to use Rejuran, normal Rejuran. We call it Rejuran face. And that’s going to go through Kerry’s cheeks. And of course her top lip, possibly down into her chin. We’ll see. We’ll see how we go. And that’s again to improve skin quality. And then Rejuran also has a scar option. So Rejuran scar. It’s a little bit thicker and it can be used for scars, but, we also use it across that top lip because it just gives you a little bit of extra structure and support.

So finally today we’re going to be applying exosomes to Kerry’s skin. So this is a fantastic little aftercare treatment. They little messenger bundles from human stem cells. And they’re powerful anti-inflammatories. They help our cells to talk to one another. Exosomes can be applied with or without the Alma Impact Ted device, particularly when we’ve already created little micro channels in the skin using the Alma Opus Microplasma device. We don’t necessarily need to use the TED, but because we have it, here today, we’re going to use it for Kerry.

So to help me to get the little Exosomes into the skin, today we’re going to be using the Alma Impact TED device. So this is a ultra low frequency ultrasound device that creates little micro tunnels in our skin and helps the Exosomes to penetrate deeper into the dermis.
