Dr Niamh Corduff

Dr Niamh Corduff is RiverEnd Aesthetics’ Plastic Surgeon. Niamh established the first nonsurgical cosmetic clinic in Geelong more than 20 years ago, and she has been practising as a specialist Plastic Surgeon in private practice for 30 years.

Niamh is recognised internationally as a leader in the nonsurgical cosmetic industry and is a global key opinion leader (KOL) for Merz Aesthetics.

Niamh obtained her primary medical degree from Charing Cross Medical School (University of London) in 1984 and subsequently completed basic surgical training in the UK before emigrating to Australia in 1988. Niamh completed her specialist plastic surgical training in Australia in 1993, gaining fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). Since then, Niamh’s practice has been based in Geelong, Victoria with special interests in breast surgery and non-surgical regenerative aesthetics.

In 2004, Niamh became aware of an increasing number of her patients looking for non-surgical alternatives to facelift surgery. Many of her patients were seeking improvement in their appearance but did not want radical surgical intervention. Niamh opened the Cosmetic Refinement Clinic, one of the first non-surgical clinics in Victoria and the first in Geelong. 20 years on, we have re-branded to “RiverEnd Aesthetics” in response to regulatory changes in the Australian cosmetic industry, and Niamh continues to lead the way, embracing new advertising regulations in order to protect patients from unethical practices.

Niamh’s principal approach has always been a conservative one; not focusing on youthful features but helping her patients look healthy and well for their age. She applies her surgical anatomical knowledge and skills honed by decades of experience to achieve natural-looking outcomes for her patients.

Alongside her clinical practice, Niamh’s academic career is thriving. With more than 40 academic research publications to her name, Niamh continues to lead global research projects primarily studying regenerative science, immunology, product rheology and botulinum toxin immunogenicity.

Niamh enjoys educating and mentoring others and is regularly travelling the world to lecture at various educational forums, seminars and conferences for doctors and other health professionals working in cosmetic medicine. Niamh is particularly passionate about uplifting women in leadership and development roles in medicine.
